If You Don’t Measure It, You Can’t Change It

An EEG brain map is a simple and non-invasive way to objectively measure how well your brain's communication networks are functioning. It compares your brain’s electrical patterns to a large, normative database of people your same age and gender. It then identifies specific brain regions producing significantly too much or too little electrical activity.

Too much electrical activity in specific regions of the brain can cause symptoms including: anxiety, depression, insomnia, obsessive/compulsive behavior, digestive problems, addiction, immune system issues, chronic pain, and migraines/headaches.

Too little electrical activity can cause specific brain regions to not function efficiently, which is associated with: fatigue, poor attention, impulsive actions, procrastination, poor organization, poor memory, overwhelm anxiety, and poor sleep cycles.

Neurofeedback is to the brain what exercise is to the body

Using neurofeedback, we can isolate a specific region of your brain and improve areas producing too much or too little electrical activity. The process can physically strengthen the weakest regions of the brain by forming new neural connections. Additionally, it can help other regions become “unstuck” and lower electrical activity.

Neurofeedback is supported by substantial peer-reviewed research and is considered a safe, evidence-based intervention. The American Academy of Pediatrics has given it the highest level of efficacy, equal to stimulant medication for addressing attention disorders. But, unlike medication, neurofeedback has no known side effects and can provide permanent improvements in the brain.

Train Your Brain Using Video Game Technology

Neurofeedback is a powerful tool, whereby the brain’s electrical patterns are trained using sophisticated audio/visual feedback technology that appears like a video game. 

EEG sensors on the scalp detect when the brain is producing optimal electrical patterns. When the sensors identify these patterns, video game technology is used to provide immediate rewards (moving the game forward) or inhibits (slowing down/stopping). The game will only advance each time the electrical patterns directly under the sensor functions optimally.
